Title: How to backup samsung galaxy contacts to computer?
Post by: lisaab on March 16, 2016, 01:50:37 AM
There are many Samsung phone users, and to keep your phone contacts safer you would want to move them to your computer, but we can't do that just via a USB cable, we need an android file manager to help. I found Coolmuster Android Backup Assistant (http://www.android-sms-recovery.com/android-sms-manager.html) really helpful.

Samsung contacts backup (http://www.transfer-motorola-recovery.com/how-to/how-to-transfer-contacts-from-samsung-to-computer.html), follow this:
Step 1: Connect Samsung Phone to PC and Run the Problem
Connect your samsung phone to computer via USB cable, then start the Coolmuster Android Assistant. The problem will detect your samsung phone automatically and you'll see some detailed info of your samsung phone in an interface.

Tips: If this is the first time your samsung phone connecting with the problem, you'll need to enable USB debugging first. You just need to follow the guide to open the USB debugging and install USB driver on your cell phone. Once the USB debugging finished, you'll see an interface just like above.

Step 2: Select and Check Contacts and Start Export

OK! That's all!

Contacts are great assets for everyone so it is very necessary to back it up. By running samsung backup software, you can export samsung contacts to PC (http://www.androidphonesoft.com/resources/copy-sms-from-samsung-to-computer.html) without losing any detail. Apart from this, this program is functional. In fact, you are able preview and backup everything of your HTC smart phone on computer with simple operations.

As far as I know, Gmail can help back up Android contacts easily and free. Did you try it?

Android Manager (http://www.android-mobile-manager.com/) can do this in the same way. It is a management tool that can transfer files between computer and Android phone. You just need to launch it in you computer, and then connect your phone to computer.

Note: Don't add new Android software (http://www.renewandroid.com/products/android-manager-3.html) or delete the existed files in your phone so as to keep the Android data from being overwritten any more. If, unfortunately, your Android data was overwritten, I will be sorry to tell you that what you just lost can't be retrieved any longer.

If you haven’t open the debugging on your phone, this software will remind you to Contact transfer app (http://www.renewandroid.com/products/phone-transfer-4.html) USB debugging on your phone. And check the version of your Android phone, then follow the steps to do it.
