Chevy for sure. No matter what era you look at, Checy trucks are superior in drive train, interior quality, I would add exterior appearance, but I guess that's subjective.

I own a Ford for many years and I had only minor difficulties. Probably one of the most quality cars, so my vote goes to Ford

Chevy all the way. I've had all positive experiences with 95 c1500, 97 2-door tahoe, 98 Monte Carlo z34, 2006 Silverado Z71, and now my 2008 Trailblazer with the 5.3. They have all been terrific.

Not to mention the other GMs that I've owned, my favorite of which was the 65 Buick Skylark. Loved that car!
