Mint, Ubuntu, Backtrack 5r3, and Kali.

Everyone knows Windows can't hold a candle to Linux when it comes to stability, security, customability, and sheer power..

However, it can take a little patience learning it and it can be hard getting everything (ie hardware) to work right away. For those of us willing to learn, its well worth it. However, Windows will always be easy and hold a majority of the market share.

That being said, I take advantage and have the both of best worlds dual-booting Win7 and Linux.

I have so much difficulties using Windows 8... I am really thinking about switching to Ubuntu. My employer already switched almost all computers to Red Hat linux.

As it was said earlier, the Unix platform is much more stable that any version of Windows. It does take some time to get used to, but once the learning curve is conquered, Windows pales in comparison. I run a Zentyl server at home which is Unix based and is not only Unix based, but OpenSource as well and runs faster and more stable than our Windows Server 2003 machine at work.
