How many more people have to lose jobs?
Company's can't afford that! Crazy!
Maybe some of the outrageously payed Executive class could give a little back !
lol like that would ever happen.

People can't help but put their hands in the pot and stir up a good thing... we'll see how some of those cities do with 10.10 and 15 p/h...

Regardless of where people are hired for I think they schould get a minimum wage of $22 hour net. Just for the time that they are giving. Time is money also for the jobless.

Many companies have alread said they will do massive layoffs and hiring freeze if min. wage goes much over $10 per hr.  Even McDonalds is closing stores in many states for the first time in decades!

I agree jmcg1213, also note that our ground troops barely make minimum wage and sacrifice their lives for us and the burger flippers expect 15-22 per hour. It's freakin' nuts!

Anything over $12.hr will kill many jobs and small businesses! Price of anything up 60% and no
place to work, all = Welfare that last a short time most states.

More min. wage = less people working (companies can't afford to hire & profif)
Profit numbers would shrink. Only relief - we layoff and do hiring freeze or both.
We also cut all benifits, even to Joe here is set to retire next month!

Some companies are working with automators to entirely rid the place of employees!
One is Major is Mc'Donalds closing hundreds of stores for the first time in company
history!

What ever you think - it will cost many jobs! Punks flipping burgers are protesting
are just killing there own jobs (and many others), when a battle soldier makes less
then $6 per hour!  True facts all can be found or PM me for links.

Our troops deserve more than "Happy Meal Pay"

But where are the companies going to get the money to pay their workers $22 an hour?

I think minimum wage needs increasing, but nowhere hella near $22/hour. More like 8-9/hr. Liveable? No, but that's not what a minimum starting job is for. $22/hour is middle class living the life, not "livable." I'm making half that right now and I'm more than comfortable. Dropped loads on my gaming PC and still got room to spare to start looking at buying that BMW I've been eying.
