another thing to note is, what the hell are you doing with the thing? if you are going to a drag strip there is a "most common" way of succeeding there. while if you go to a track filled with twisties, there will be a completely different set of engineering rules applied to the vehicle. I say american muscle is more or less still doing what its always done best, fast straight lines!
